Another Crocodile Bites the Dusts

The title is just some thoughtless mix up of words as I was reading Inquirer.net's article about the teachers who participated in the elections. read the greedy teachers' desires here.

So much for being the so-called builders of this already god-forsaken country, instead of these people being good examples to their students...all they actually show is how to be systematically greedy. A very BAD example for ALL the students in these already disfunctional system.

Citing May 10 election's assumed success, the teacher's desired to be compensated an extra (they have an already allocated honorarium prior to elections)
Said Valisno: “The additional compensation to the RMAT members is a good start and we thank Comelec for that, but our commissioners should not forget that it was the BEIs that really made the difference last Monday. So if the RMATs deserve a raise, why not the BEIs?”
Does this mean that they will not actually do their tasks IF the honorarium they get is the allocation they previously get? What a subtle show of laziness.
“Our teachers braved the huge crowds. They absorbed the ire and frustration of the voters; they resolved technical issues sometimes without the assistance of the Smartmatic technicians, but most importantly, they gave credibility to the elections. So I don’t think this is too much to ask,” said Valisno.
Braved??? Absorbed??? The what??? Hey, these bunch of so-called professionals have nothing to do the entire summer (mostly those who worked in public schools); they get paid as they have a fixed monthly salary; they also receive year-end bonuses for purposes of god-knows what! Inspite of such vast amounts wasted for them, they still are not willing to perform a task that gets done only once every six god-damned years.

If you teachers can't find satisfaction over an honoraria you have previously been aware of simply because you think you are the key an event's success...why don't you go jack-off somewhere; continue drownning yourself on loans (teachers are pathetically buried in debts for some unknown reason); and get a life you lazy bastards!!!

Balloon Theory - by Craig Harris

First of, I would like to thank my good old expat friends whom I have met since four years ago through the late good German Alfred. GR introduced me to 321gold.com which in turn I have followed since then and reading their articles have given me a clearer and different picture of reality. This post I am making today is perhaps one of the best reads I ever had and I felt compelled to share it with my friends as well - real life or digital.

The title tells you already as to who made the article and I will be putting in only a his first paragraph and you may go straight to his website with the link provided below.

In 2008, the peoples capacity to finance the debt they carried was exceeded. A global balloon of debt burst causing the largest financial crisis in world history. As articulated by the former Secretary of the Treasury to the US congress, a near cataclysmic chain reaction breakdown of the entire global financial system occurred. The Keynesian economic model was exposed as a fraud, and other theories and ideas are now emerging in an attempt to better explain past events as well as to offer predictive value that the now discredited Keynesian model will surely fail to predict.

Transparency Watchdog Launched

Late last March, I have come acrossed an article over Inquirer.net about a new advocate for transparency which aims to protect public finances from being abused by the people in the government. They have their website click here to "pera natin to" website.

My extremely useless and tired brain kicked up by the idealism this group is up to. At least we see moves to curtail corruption. I have always been against such practices in the government, being someone who grew up in a society where the beaurocracy is at it's peak of abuse, it is disgusting to see this supposedly public servants mock the sanctity of their positions.

Pera-natin-to is very much welcome and appreciated for it's existence. The concept is ideal, but can they really do what they are meant to? This, not to offend the organization, I am still a skeptic. It appears that this group is sponsored by USAID, I'm not so sure if sponsor is the right term but let me put it that way as a layman.

USAID, is a government agency - of course by Uncle Sam itself. Uncle Sam is a viscious empirialist. This reminds me of Uncle Sam's role in the cold wars. Could it be that this watchdog is one of Uncle Sam's infiltration agency to the already infiltrated disfunctional government of the Philippines?
