Philippine Politicking and the Filipino Church of Comedians

As I opened my computer today, I went straight for inquirer in hope of good news. Want I got instead was a joke - which left me laughing in spite of being alone with my computer. I don't to say anything more except one question - Is there really one?

Here is why:

Religous Mischief???

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" - Epicurus

Just a few minutes ago, a supposedly good friend of mine who supposedly knows me and what I stand for called me up, invited me for a lousy religious rite of their insane born-again pentecostal filthy and surely paganist belief that is to be next week.

This god-addict supposedly friend of mine, like the former friends I had whom I now consider hostile due to the fact that religious as they are they are only being so as to deceive people, even went a step further by wasting my god-forsaken time through his useless joke of praying over me over the air.

I can not even dare to imagine as to how come these useless crap came through the supposedly creative human mind. Can't people be more creative in doing a living than merely preaching $h!t and lead other unsuspecting other people to believe than church blah blah blah is the messenger for this world's extinct jesus for goodness sake that was the meeeeeee-----ssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaa--------yaaaaaaaaaa?????

Geez! People these days don't even think twice of considering the fact that fairy tales such as god, baal and zeus are things of the past.

These god-damned lousy wasteful useless excuses are no longer the right theme for a civilized society as ours.

When will the majority ever realize that their beliefs are no more than a re-packaged paganism??? (Samhain Festival, Horus, Poseidon (yes the trident), jesus (what???????). These entities are products of the weakest human minds ever who can not deliver are logical systemic explanation of things in their times so they resorted to rituals, witchcraft, religion and deities to seek counsel.

I have seen Jesus dining in Hell with Baal yesterday and sitting behind them were Hades and Loki. Good thing Thor or Hulk weren't there otherwise that party would have been spoiled. Go to hell pastors!!!

Job Well Done

Seven days back, we were as busy as bees as the deadline to deliver twenty-five laptops came close.

We have came across a few challenges as the new units are designed not to make XP-life easy. Our client was specific to use only Windows XP and so we had to hunt for the drivers with extreme rarity.

My team, composed of the software division and "the stressers" only had four days left to make sure that what we deliver is at least perfect to the last detail as requested.

The packages were completely tweaked from the looks inside and out to the software security and even the wallpapers.

Although installing the basics is not that hard of a job, stabilizing Windows XP while removing the unnecessary background services is not since we have to keep the units as dynamic as the un-tweaked ones.

As the delivery date came, the intended recipients came as a bunch to individually test their units and after a very long two-hour scrutiny by them - we heared a noisy round of applause from them.

Concluding the receipt of the goods was the words from their head saying "Job well done."

After which, an envelope was handed to us containing the full payment of the units plus a cheque with an amount around 15% of the gross price labeled as "tip."
